Featuring Durashield housing to guard against wear and tear, the DDB180-02 utilizes an 18-volt lithium-ion battery that provides 35 percent more runtime and two times the recharge cycles of its competitors. It includes two Slim Pack 18-volt lithium-ion batteries, and the DDB180-02 can drive approximately 160 3-inch screws per battery charge.

The DDB180-02 works at two speeds--400 RPM and 1,300 RPM--and provides 400 inch/pounds of torque, which is enough to drive most common fasteners and drill bits. Durashield housing, unibody construction, and a steel-reinforced collar help you withstand real-world conditions, like temperature extremes, rain, dirt, debris, and drops.
The DDB180-02's Durashield housing is constructed with ABS/Nylon composite, which makes the housing flexible and impenetrable. Unlike competitive tools, which use a conventional plastic housing, Durashield will not crack and can easily withstand 10-foot drops.
With 15 clutch settings and a variable-speed trigger, you'll be able to match the best speed to the job and achieve more precise results. The unique Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) feature automatically switches the motor off when it stalls, helping to prevent it from burning out.
This drill/driver is wrapped in a soft-grip housing that fits comfortably in your hand for extended working time, and it includes an LED light to ensure visibility in low-lit areas. It comes with a 3/8-inch keyless chuck. The DDB180-02 is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
